Ashmax Review: Setting the Record Straight

In reviewing what has been written about AshMax, online, as well as in videos, I can see why people are shying away from the statement of making over $22,000 a month in residual income, just by using the AshMax marketing system. Because they don't believe it! Or at least, they don't believe it is possible for them.

Some of the things I have seen are unreal and I am appalled at all of the gimmicks that are being used to try and get someone to join AshMax. Such as labeling it as a scam... only to read the article to see that they are actually promoting AshMax. Or not being upfront about what it actually takes to be successful in AshMax, only to have you join, with no upline support. None of this is necessary, as the system speaks for itself.

I will be very upfront with you, yes, I am a member of AshMax and I would love for you to join me but before you do, I need to set the record straight.

What is the AshMax Marketing system?

The AshMax marketing system, opened on June 29th, 2010, was created by Ash Mafureh, who was the world leading recruiter for GDI for three years in a row. AshMax is a free marketing system that incorporates Global Domains International (GDI) and Freeway To Success (FTS) under one umbrella and to date, has over 20,000 members. These two companies were chosen very carefully and have been around for many years and have a proven track record. It is important for you to understand that the AshMax system, itself, does not receive any money from you nor does it pay out any money to you. The income comes from the affiliate programs of GDI and FTS. When someone joins you in AshMax, they will also join you in GDI and FTS, therefore helping you to grow your downlines with both companies.

The AshMax system has two time limitations. First, you have 7 days to tour the entire system, for free. However, if you want to keep your AshMax system, you must upgrade under your sponsor within that 7 day time period, by joining them in GDI and FTS or you will lose the system. But those who can see the vision don't wait for the full 7 days.

The second timed limitation is that you must bring in 5 upgraded members within a 20 day time period, or you will lose the AshMax system. Each person has their own individual time tables, starting from the date they become a free member. Once you have 5 upgraded members in your AshMax downline, as well as your GDI and FTS downlines, it is important that you work with them and teach them how to duplicate what you do. The AshMax system is definitely not one where you can just join and then do nothing.

Let's talk about the $22,300 a Month Residual income

Is it possible... Absolutely! Is it possible for you? Only you can answer that question. Here is what it takes to get to the $22,300 a month residual income.

The $22,300 a month residual income is based on a 5 x 5 matrix, which comes out to 3,905 people. However, the only part that is a forced matrix is that belonging to FTS which guarantees forced spillover. Both the AshMax and GDI matrices can go as wide as you want them to. But that is not a good idea. After you have your 5 people, it is better to then help your 5 people get their 5 so that you can grow your downline deep instead of wide. This helps everybody.

The GDI portion of the pay plan, based on a full 5 x 5 matrix will yield you a monthly income of $3,905. The FTS portion of the pay plan actually has two components to it, the Basic membership and the Gold membership. It is imperative that a person join both, the basic and the gold, in order to even get close to the $22,300 a month, especially within the 100 day period. The FTS Basic compensation based on a full 5 x 5 matrix will yield you $3,855 a month in residual income and the FTS Gold will yield you a whopping $14,540! Which is a huge chunk of the $22,300. That's why you want to join all three income streams to get the full effect. Which brings me to the costs to join.

How Much does it costs to join AshMax?

The answer is nothing. It is a completely free system. However the cost are involved when you join GDI and FTS, under your AshMax sponsor. The initial cost to join GDI is $10, with the first 7 days being free, if you chose a (.ws) domain name. Then it is $10 a month thereafter. The cost to join the FTS Basic membership is $5 with a one-time admin fee of $10 and then it is $5 a month, thereafter. This is where the $25 to join comes from. But as I have shown you above, without the FTS Gold membership, you won't even get close to the $22,300 a month within the 100 day time frame. Accordingly, the cost to join the FTS Gold membership is $15 with a one-time $10 admin fee and then it is $15 a month thereafter. Therefore, your total costs to get started is $50 and then it is $30 a month thereafter. However, it is very likely that you won't even have to come out of pocket to pay your monthly fees...ever, because of the commissions you will have earned in the first month.

What about my 5 people?

This is the most crucial part of the system and not just any 5 people will do. You want to bring in 5 people who are like-minded in the fact that they also want to succeed and are willing to do what it takes to make it happen. These will be the 5 people that you work most closely with to show them how to duplicate what you have done, as their sponsor. Since you will have 20 days to get your 5 upgraded members, you don't want to wait until the last minute to do so. These very important 5 people will also have the same time limitations to keep their systems but with your help, as their sponsor, by helping them, you are also helping yourself. However, I am not talking about doing the work for them. If you bring in 5 members that you are going to have to do the work for, then you are definitely working much harder than you have to.

Anyone who wants to be successful and wants to be paid what they are worth. Today's work ethic is far from that of the past. Our ancestors labored in all kinds of conditions for pennies on the dollar, just to insure their children would have a better life. But somewhere along the way the X and Y generation lost the honor in working.

Actually, I believe in just the opposite. I believe in leveraging time for money. It's much smarter to have the efforts of a hundred people than the efforts of one. With that being said, I still believe that you have to put in a level of work or effort to receive the outcomes you desire.

If My Memory Serves Me Correctly

Today is the first day back to school for my children after a week of Spring Break and boy am I happy. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my children would take the word break literally. Every time I turned around, somebody was dropping and/or breaking something and it was never their fault. One day this past week while at the grocery store, I got a call from my daughter and the first words out her mouth were "mom it's not my fault" my heart nearly skipped a beat as I thought to myself..."what now". She went on to tell me that she knocked the laptop on the floor and had broken my modem.

My modem, of all things, my modem. I was so furious that I couldn't begin to find the words to tell her how I felt. Afterall, this piece of equipment was the source of our bread and butter. How can an Internet Executive survive with no internet. I began to go into my normal routine of "why does this keep happening to me" I wanted to throw cans and smash jars and yell at the top of my lungs. And suddenly a calm came over me. I quickly regained my composure and thought to myself, "if my memory serves me correctly, I've been here before!

Much like David I've had to battle a few giants in the past, and I've come out the victor. My computer has crashed and I lost invaluable information, modems broken, diminished funds, lack of support, family issues, you name it, I've experienced it. Yes there have been times where I just want to give up and walk away from it all and then I'm reminded of the days when things were better. If my memory serves me correctly, I owned my own home, bought a new car every couple of years, rose to the top in my profession fairly quickly and had a beautiful family. Our best days are not behind us, but ahead of us. So as minor distractions arise we have to regain our composure and press on. Through the struggle we gain strength. When it seems like your dreams aren't going to come to fruition let your memories of past accomplishments remind you that are more to come.

I Shall Not Be Moved!

It's so easy to get distracted and swayed from your dreams. There's always something or someone to interfere with your focus. At times the negativity rings louder than the positive and your faith is shaken. "Is this for me" "Will this ever work" "Am I wasting my time" are questions I'm sure every great person has asked themselves on the way to their destiny. Sadly, many stop just short of greatness. We tend to forget that with every action we come one step closer to our goals. Better known as the snowball effect. You know, as a snowball rolls down hill, it not only gains momentum, but it gets bigger as well.

I don't know exactly when my efforts will take on the snowball effect, but what I do know is I won't ever stop trying. I've learned to become the horse on the track with the blinders on. I don't look left and I don't look right, I just focus straight ahead. At the end of the straight and narrow lies my reward. I can no longer subscribe to the theories of others or seek their validation. What's for me is for me. I know it, I believe it and I call on it everyday. I've been the puppet and paraded in the dog and pony show, only to feel sickened by the disloyalty to myself. That is so a thing of the past. I live my life freely, in truth and in honesty. As they say, to thine own self be true.

I know that what I seek to become is for the greater good. It not only benefits me, but those around me. For this I push past my own expectations and dream a vision bigger than my eyes can see. You see, I don't seek to fit in, but to stand out and eventually rise above. Rise above negativity and mediocrity and land is success and prosperity. Some days I look up and before I know it, it's 2:00pm. I think to myself what have I done today besides fiddle around on various social networks, and then what do I see? A reference to my name or my opportunity in one of those networks or a message that states I have a new prospect.

It's then when I realize, action does equal success. You might not know what to do all the time, or how to do it....but if you just do something, you will see results. If your goal is to lose weight and you didn't do a planned workout but did walk for a mile, you're still successful. It's the same way with marketing. I don't believe that one method is any more successful than others, but I do believe that you just have to do something to bring about awareness of the product or service that you are offering.

Unfortunately, my day got off to a rough start and I found it difficult to get moving. Distractions were all around me. The electricity went out in two of the rooms in my home, a friend de-friended me in Twitter (still can't figure that one out), my cell phone stalker was in high gear and I just plain ole didn't feel like it today. But then I got a message from a person I met via twitter thanking me for a conversation we had, for it was just what he needed to catapult him into action. He not only got booked for his first speaking engagement but was also asked to appear on a television show. An hour or so after that, I spoke with my sister and she told me she read my blog and found it to be good reading. Wow!

What did I learn from today's events? Action=Success. I think allot of times we don't feel successful in our endeavors if there's no one there to pat us on the back and say 'good job'. We often feel like the steps we've taken have been done in vain. I now know that that couldn't be farther from the truth. If you throw a rock in the water enough times, you will make a wave. Just keep moving and keep pushing and you will be noticed. Truth be told, people see you and hear you and research what you're doing and will never let you know or never give you a word of encouragement. But even your doubters and naysayers are sometimes your best promoters!

A New Approach

Today I've decided to take a new approach with my blog. Up until now, I've discussed the various levels of internet marketing. But I realized my Wealthy Nulife is not just about marketing, but about allot of other things that make my life rich.

Friday I was so upset because I'd missed a delivery from UPS. I paid the extra cost for express shipping only to miss the delivery after waiting on it all day. Why is it that the delivery man or the utility man comes right when you jump in the shower or step out to pick up the kids from school? I guess that's what you call Murphy's Law. So, not only did I miss the delivery, I find out they won't be back until Monday. Uggh! "Why does this always happen to me?" I shout. Then I realize all the shouting in the world wouldn't help, I'd just have to get the package on Monday.

I was so anxious to get started on my new Insanity workout by Beach Body, because I'm long over due for a healthy regiment in my life. Hurry up and wait! The story of my life. Then I realized there were other ways to enrich my life over the weekend and I began to delve into one of the many e-books I have. I chose to read "The Mastery of Self" and it was the best decision I've made in a long time. This book helped me to recognize feelings of self-doubt, fear and self-sabotage. If you think things are going to go wrong, 9 times out of 10 they probably will. The great life that awaits you will only come to fruition when you are able to control your thinking in a positive way. When your mind refuses to accept negative thoughts or ideas, you will only attract positive people and circumstances. If you should be faced with negativity, you will be better equipped to handle and dispel it's intentions.

After my reading, there was a calm that came over me and I thought to myself, Monday is just as good a day as any to start my new work out. When I opened the package today, low and behold! The workout is to begin on a Monday. I knew right then that my positive reaction to what I thought was the end of the world was a confirmation that my steps are ordered.

A Wealthy life is so much more than being blessed financially, but being whole and fit in mind, body and spirit.

Relationship Marketing~ Branding

Everybody is using the term branding these days. But what does that really mean? I know how fraternities brand themselves or how ranchers brand their cattle, but how do marketers brand themselves? Secondly, is branding always a good thing, or does it peg you into one hole?

The American Marketing Association (AMA) defines a brand as a "name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers. So I guess by branding myself or my name, I'm telling the world that I am Tamia Postell and this is what I stand for, or this is what I promote. What happens if I decide not to promote the same product anymore or my views change over time?

According to the latest guru's... it's ok to change your ideas or views because the relationship you build with your followers will be so strong that they will change products or views right along with you. A good brand is said to confirm your credibility, motivate the buyer, connect you and the buyer emotionally and solidify buyer loyalty. Hhmmm, I'm not so sure of this. On one hand there are many marketers that sell product after product, and one can only assume that he has branded himself as a guru on that particular niche. But on the other hand I feel like branding yourself could also lead to a road of high expectations.

I hate to use Tiger Woods as an example because the media has already taken him through the wringer, but I think he is a prime example of where branding can go wrong. Tiger branded himself as a good guy, a clean cut honorable young man, which made companies flock to him. He was every marketers dream, and subsequently was booked to sponsor several companies. When he was exposed as being a less than perfect human being, the sponsors dropped him like a hot potato. Why? because he was not the type of person they wanted to promote their products. Tigers branding failed him and his sponsors.

This is exactly why I am against branding myself as the authority on anything. I can only assure anyone that I will do my best, not that I am the best. We are all a masterpiece in the making and everyday is a new learning experience. I believe relationship building is needed more in today's methods of marketing. We need to take the time to learn more about each other, like what really resides in the hearts and minds of the people we choose to follow and stop looking for the next guru to lead us like sheep to slaughter.

Information Overload

Have you ever felt like you will never, ever get marketing down pat because there's so much information and so little time to read it all? I feel exactly the same way! Every day my inbox is bombarded with the latest marketing tricks, the newest list building e-book, the best traffic exchanges or how to set up a splash page and an auto-responder. Oh and let's not forget the time you need to spend reading the classics like "Think and Grow Rich" or the "Master Key System". My brain is on information overload. Sometimes after reading I'm more confused than when I began.

The more you read, the more you'll see the same information with a new spin on it. All of which by the way, contradict each other. I've come to realize there is no magic way to market. You just have to do it. Whatever method you choose, just be consistent with it. I think they all have the potential to work if done methodically.

That's where things get hairy for me. I get extremely bored with redundancy. That's why I've chosen to go back to the basics with marketing and do direct mailing. It's a totally hands off approach. I create an order and send it out and my information tends to stay with people allot longer than an email. There are days I sit down and fire off a few emails and check out some traffic exchanges to stay current on what's new, but my tried and true method will always be direct mail marketing. The last couple of businesses I've chosen have been centered around direct mailing. I'm loving it and my brain thanks me for it1

Back in the Swing of Things

After a six month hiatus I'm back in the saddle and it feels good!

Last Summer I decided to take some time off and blow the money I'd previously made in my online efforts and found it hard to get back in the swing of things. I kept putting it off for one reason or another, because after all, I am the queen of procrastination. Until finally, I had enough.
